Default Carto Title Question

For Master Of the North, when you have to get the carto points for it, do you have hug the walls of dungeons? Or do you just vanquish + carto the explorable areas? (ie, riven earth, arbor bay, etc)

And do you have to carto Battledepths or Caverns below Kamadan?

the dungeon areas and battle depths areas do not count to the carta. As they're like underground and gunk.

Thanks!

And also, if I did not uncover the pvp arenas in Tyra, Cantha, or Elona, will I sitll be able to achieve 100% carto? As I'm level 20 now and I can't go back and scrape the areas.

you can still scrape the outposts. And each campaign has over 100% exploration avalible so it shouldn't be an issue.

For cartographer purposes, you only have to map those areas that remain mapped on the map. So, no dungeons, no Undercity, no Hidden city of Ahdashim and so on.

So, if it's revealing on the world map, it counts for cartographer.

As for the low level arenas, it's a good idea to take a look while you're still low level. You don't NEED them, but when you're at 99.9%, you'll curse yourself for not having mapped them

Also you don't have to Vanquish and Carto the Realm of Torment.

Basically, if it's a black popup map that you have to reveal every time you visit, then it doesn't count for cartography purposes.

The only special places that are really necessary to complete a cartography title are those in Factions and Nightfall that require you to enter a Challenge Mission. You don't have to complete the mission, just unfog the whole area. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Challenge_mission
